At Balfour at Bow Wine Vaults, we celebrate wines from across England’s most renowned estates, as well as exciting boutique winemakers.
We think wines should reflect their origin: where the grapes are grown, and who has made the wine. We take great care in selecting our wines and keeping the selection fresh and interesting.

MEET RICHARD & LESLIE BALFOUR-LYNN, PIONEERS OF ENGLISH WINES
Balfour Winery is one of England’s leading wine producers, pioneers for both English traditional method sparkling wines, and a new wave of English still wines. Making over 400,000 bottles of still and sparkling wines each year, Balfour is one of England’s most respected and renowned wineries, combining world class winemaking with a spirit of innovation.
Owners Richard and Leslie Balfour-Lynn planted their first vineyards in 2002 on the beautiful Hush Heath Estate, and five years later, Balfour Brut Rosé 2004 became the first English wine to win a trophy at the international wine challenge. Balfour was firmly on the wine map and has remained there ever since.
